Italy

Exploring the streets of Italy, you feel an ancient mystery around every corner. Every step on the stone pavement is traced in time. 2,000 years of deep history are imprinted on the stairs you climb. The streets are narrowing overhanging balconies and flower arrangements. You can smell fresh garlic bread baking, the scent of Xerjoff "ZUR-joff” perfume, cigarette smoke, crowds of people speaking in an Italo-Romance dialect, and now you're being handed a shot of limoncello because the local restaurant owners' favorite soccer team is winning.

Japan

Japan's atmosphere is unlike any other. Japan is rich in culture and tradition, and you feel that energy around you. You hear all languages around you, kanji lettering is unfamiliar, you smell the wrapped salmon onigiri, and the Shinkansen train rushes by as you wait to enter. From exploring the past through ancient temples, to enlightening your mind in the hot springs, consuming flavor-bursting gyozas, sharing a cup of sake, singing karaoke at the local bar, nightclubbing to EDM, shopping in the endless Nishiki Market, and Pokémon Go in the place where it originated.

Chicago

As you enter the Windy City, you feel a sense of wonder. You see Cubs jerseys at every turn, smell hot dogs with ketchup, mustard, and dill, feel a cold breeze hit you like a refreshing mint, and hear laughter coming from the underground bars. You go into the deeper parts to find Navy Pier running with kids, the iconic Bean structure covered with 100’s of people who came there just for this moment; perhaps a Cubs game is appearing at Wrigley while watching Cubs fans come from every street heading to see what their generations of families have done before them.

New york

The Big Apple is one of America's most iconic cities. You're overwhelmed by the cultural diversity as you walk through Times Square. Every voice has an accent, differing language, pronunciations, and a story. It’s like walking into the universe of all cultures and people living in one place. The crowds feel less like tourists and more like an opening to diversity. You see the food vendors, dog walkers, business employees taking their last call before entering work, children on school field trips, and guided tours of the city. The possibilities are endless with shopping districts, sightseeing skyscrapers, musicals so loud you hear them from outside, and watching a performance of local entertainers.

Festivals & Concerts

No matter what music you're into, you'll always find a spot for you at a music festival. What's so magical about festivals and concerts is bringing together like-minded people. For some people, this music changed their life from going down a dark path; for others, it's a gateway into another world through someone's artistic musical abilities. Hangout Fest and Sing Out Loud Fest were that for me. Between SZA, Calvin Harris, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, there was music for all generations at Hangout Fest. Sing Out Loud was designed for indie artists such as Hozier, GiGi Perez, and Sombr. Hearing these artists show what they have created with their minds and having thousands of people to gather to watch is such a special thing. It’s community building. I'll never forget going to Alanis Morissette and Joan Jett's concert with my parents and being able to embrace what music helped them grow into the people they are today.

Disney

Disney was always that one-day bucket-list destination I knew I'd always long for. Then I got the opportunity to go, and it was everything and more than what I expected. Each park has its own theme and not only that, but differences in activities and experiences you can immerse in. Whether it's eating around the world at Epcot, with Mexico’s margaritas, Italy's Alfredo pasta, or sushi in Japan. Finding the tree of life in Animal Kingdom, exploring the secrets of Pandora, taking a guided tour through a real preservation zoo, or riding through the Kali River Rapids. Expanding on that childlike wonder with the Cars show, having nostalgia as you watch The Muppets in theatres, or adventuring through the streets of the Black Spire Outpost from Star Wars.
